Former UKIP leader, Nigel Farage has said that he is close to backing another EU referendum. His reasoning behind this was to end the ‘whinging and whining’ of those who oppose Brexit.
He believes that a fresh vote would “kill off” the remain campaign for a ‘generation’. Farage has also said that ‘the percentage that would vote to leave next time would be very much bigger than it was last time around’.
Farage was one of the leading figures for the leave campaign during the referendum, which of course won with 51.9% of the votes.
