We have over 40 years' experience of acting for schools not under direct local authority control, and, more recently, we have acted for academy schools since conversion became more mainstream in 2010. Our knowledge of the education sector has led us to provide audit and advisory services to several academies throughout Lancashire, assisting them through the conversion process and the adaptation to the reporting under the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA). This has allowed us to develop a broad knowledge of academies and the various activities which schools typically undertake.

We also act for established Multi Academy Trusts (MATs) and can provide assistance for schools who are looking to either create a MAT or join an existing MAT.

We have staff trained in the education sector, specifically for academy schools, and the training of these staff is regularly updated as the legislation issued by the ESFA evolves in these early years of academy schools. We also have contacts within the ESFA itself allowing us to communicate directly with them on any key issues. We believe this combination allows us to provide an excellent level of service to our academy school clients.
